How do we pronounce iSEIFU?
We pronounce iSEIFU as 'I-Say-Who'. ('I' of iSEIFU stands for IT, intelligence and instructive. SEIFU means 'clean wind' in Japanese. )

Are there any dormitories?
Yes. For the students who require dormitories, we introduce dormitories or studio apartments at the price lower than market prices. Moreover, students with excellent academic results are entitled to reside in domitories supported by scholarship system where meals are served. Would it be impossible to enter the school if I did not graduate high school?
You cannot enter the regular course, 'Japanese Language Course', if you have not finished high school (more than 12 years of education). However, we open '3 months Course and Summer intensive' for all the people including the high school students and junior-high graduates who wish to learn Japanese.

Do we all start from 'A I U E O'?
Your class will be decided by ability test at the time of entrance. You can start learning according to your own Japanese ability level.

What kinds of texts are we going to use?
The texts would be

Basic Class: Japanese for all etc.
Intermediate Class New Approach / Japanese to Learn at Intermediate Level etc.
Advanced Class New Approach <Advanced> / Japanese to Learn at Advanced Level etc.


In addition , work-books and hand-outs are also used in class.

How are the teachers like?
They are the ones highly skilled at Japanese education and are the ones gathered for their abilities to considerately guide students through their school years to their future. Also, there are teachers who have extra-skills and know-how for providing students with countermeasures for their entrance exam into a college or with business-manners, in addition to Japanese teaching skills. Which is required, 'Student Visa' or 'Pre-College Student Visa'?
On coming to our school from abroad, students are issued with 'Student Visa (valid for 1~2 years)'. Most of other Japanese language schools issue 'Pre-College Student Visa' ,which is valid for 0.5 to 1 year . With 'Student Visa' , you can enjoy special discount for students, deduction in National Health Service, introduction of lodging facilities and so on.
What is different from iSEIFU and other Japanese language schools?

At our school, based on Buddhism, students are trained for the upraising of several skills such as business-manners, self-disciplines, the self-management ability and etc, all of which contribute to leading actual life in Japan securing employment, to say nothing of proficiency in practical Japanese. We believe that all of these skills help students to play an active part in the Japanese society. We are also supporting students seeking a job with job placement assistance in IT or IT related firms.

Besides, prior to the commencement of regular courses, we occasionally hold gatherings so as to provide foreign students with opportunities to associate with Japanese students. while setting basic educational course related to computer. We have also opened IT Specialist Course. This course is set on the premise that the student is majors in that field. Are there any elective subjects neccessary for further academic advancements?
In our school, there are many elective classes aiming at further academic advancements. We help you attain such goals as the Japanes - Language Proficiency Test the certificate of which is required to take IT-related class at our school, Examination for Japanese Univ. Admission for International Students including Japanese, Comprehensive Subjects, Mathematics, Science which is neccessary for international students when they make admissions to Japanese universities, English (TOEFL) , Japanese essay writing, and interview strategies. How much would it cost if I proceed to IT Departments (Information Media, Career Information Technology)?
The annual tuition fee would be settled depending on the student's school records at Japanese Language Course, his / her ability & skill, eagerness, courtesy and so on, ranging from 660,000 Yen up to 990,000Yen. Is it possible to go to the next stage while in middle of the course?

It is possible to go to the next stage of education, like to universities and iSEIFU, when the Japanese ability level improves. iSEIFU, the Department of Information Media and the Department of Career Information Technology accept students' entrances and proceeds twice a year (April and October).

Can I make myself understood in my native language?

iSEIFU consists of multi-lingual staffs: There are several multi-lingual staffs who have engaged in language education in foreign countries including yours. To say nothing of English, we cover Taiwanese, Thai, Korean, Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia, French, Italian, Portuguese as well. Those multi-lingual staffs support your life, accomodation and part-time job interview. Are there any pleasant events?

We will hold 'Universal Studios Japan tour', 'Camping in a desert island ', 'Sports festival','Kiyokaze festival (school festival)','Exhibition' together with students belonging to the Department of IT. Also, there will be extracurricular activities to enjoy four seasons of Japan and Japanese culture and a Japanese Speech Contest. We will join Aizen-matsuri which is the oldest Japanese traditional festival held in Osaka.
